The Man In The Arena is a light equipment presentation with minimal tech requirements:
Set: The set consists of six free-standing pieces 8’high x 5’wide. These require about 20 minutes to assemble, but they can then be preset and wheeled on and off in less than a minute. Minimum performance space required is 12’deep x 24’wide.
Lighting: A stage wash is all that is needed. Other than bringing the house to half and bringing up the stage lights to begin the show, there are no cues or effects required.
Sound: For audiences of 500 or fewer, or unless the venue presents extraordinary acoustical problems, no sound support is required. In the event it is necessary to use sound, a single lavaliere mic is all that is needed.
Setup: 60 minutes is more than adequate for setup and for strike.
